The Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort is open to guests. The only part of the resort currently open, many wonder if it is worth a visit. Plus, how the district is expanding to include the parks. From eating insects in ice cream, to shopping for Disney merchandise, Downtown Disney district has become a popular spot for Disney fans while waiting for the Disneyland theme parks to be allowed to reopen. As Disneyland's closure surpasses the 7-month mark, with no end in sight, some are beginning to wonder if there is any way that Disneyland could reopen, at least partially. We hate to say it but there is a lot more to do in Southern California than just Disneyland. From other Theme Parks (like one with a wizard) to beaches, zoos and beyond, you can find a lot to do when you need a break from Disneyland.
